Bio

Mulus, born on June 13, 1980, is a DJ and producer from the Bern region in Switzerland with over 30 years of experience in electronic music. His career started in 1993, experimenting with early mixes using cassette players before moving on to setups with up to four turntables.

Until around 2004, he performed as DJ Mulus, mainly focused on trance, later shifting his sound towards house music. During this period, he played in various clubs and at numerous events, including the well-known “Comet of House” party series.

Afterwards, he continued his DJ career under the name DJ Ränu, working in the commercial sector until early 2026. At the same time, he was active as a producer and member of the Klanglabor collective and collaborated on several projects with NordBeat.

In 2025, Mulus rediscovered his passion for electronic music as both a DJ and producer. With upcoming releases and performances planned at electronic music events, he is now focused on delivering contemporary electronic sounds rooted in long-standing club culture.
